Where and When

May 26, 2012

Start time is 8 am for Duathlon and Triathlon. Sprint Triathlon and 5K will be scheduled after 8 am, depending on participation.

Duathlon - 2.45 mile run, 25 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

Triathlon - .5 mile swim, 25 mile bike, 3.1 mile run

Sprint Triathlon - .3 mile swim, 12 mile bike, 1.5 mile run

Duathlon starts at Limestone and Second Streets, Triathlons start upriver from Limestone Landing (yes, you swim in the Ohio River). Transportation is provided for the swimmers to the start locations.

Registration Fees:

Duathlon and Triathlon:

Early registration, through April 30th - $55

May 1st to May 18th - $60

May 19th to May 25th - $65, no race day reigstration

Sprint Triathlon:

Early registration, through April 30th - $50

May 1st to May 18th - $55

May 19th to May 25th - $60, no race day registration

5K:

registration through May 25th - $20

Day of Race, May 26th - $25

Packet Pick-up

Packet pick-up will be at the French Quarter Inn, 25 E. McDonald Parkway, Friday, May 25th, 3 pm to 8 pm and Saturday morning, May 26th, 6:30 am to 7:45 am.

Make sure you bring your USAT card and a photo ID.

Divisions

Male/female awards: 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
* Clydesdale (male 200+ lbs)
* Athena (female 150+ lbs)

* Masters - Women age 40 to 54, Men age 40 to 59
* Mountain Bike
* Military
* Buffalo Trails Region (must be from Mason, Lewis, Bracken, Fleming, Robertson counties in KY or Adams  

   or Brown counties in OH)

* Relay 2-person team (Duathlon) Male, Co-ed, Female
* Relay 3-person team (Triathlon) Male, Co-ed, Female

The race will be USAT Sanctioned with chip timing and draft marshal(s). Awards including cash are guaranteed this year to top (3) male and female overall Duathlon and Triathlon, with minimum registration in each race. Does not include Sprint Tri or 5K. Awards will be given to a percentage of pre-registered athletes in each division at our post-race party.

No race day registration except for 5K!
No refunds, no exceptions, no excuses.
This event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon (USAT) and all participants must be USAT members or purchase a one-day license for $10.00. Call 719-597-9090  or visit www.usatriathlon.org for membership information, or purchase when you register for the race.
